as i walked home about 11 plus tonight, i looked up and saw the full moon.

the chinese say that the moon is at its roundest and brightest on the fifteenth.

i say tonight's the brightest i've ever seen the moon.

so there i was...standing in the middle of a carpark, staring right up at dear mr moon. and he seemed to be smiling at me. i thought only the sun had rays, but mr moon seemed to have ten arms sticking out tonight.

when i looked at the moon, i thought of brendan...and how innocent he looked when he told me how he loved to look at the night sky.

brendan...a guy who never spoke more than five words to me at any one time.

as complex as i had thought everything out to be, brendan broke it down for me.

things suddenly seem so clear.
